In comparison with 2015, the number of the unemployed at the end of July was lower by 223,700 persons, which marks a decline by 14.1%.
The unemployment decreased all over Poland. The decline was the most pronounced in Pomorskie and Warmińsko-Mazurskie voivodeships, i.e. the regions where the unemployment rate had been the highest for many years. The lowest unemployment rate, i.e. 5.3%, is recorded in the Wielkopolskie Voivodeship.
